Seen two bad ones in games I was playing... one Sunday football... my midfield partner smashed an 18 year kid just as he turned with the ball... good fair tackle but the lad was turning into it and off balance... he crumpled to the floor and then lift his leg up only for the bottom half of his leg to give away.... I told him to slowly put his leg down .... which he did with still his shin at a almost 90 degree angle...took 30 mins to get the ambulance... did not help that his young girlfriend was there and his parents... and that one of his team mates could not stop throwing up and crying his eyes out... game abandoned... found out he had 4 or 5 operations and never kicked a ball again ... same thing happened playing for me works team ... one of me team mates went into a sliding 50/50 and the oppo' players leg just folded up... he had all sorts of complications and ended up 2 or 3 years later having the bottom half of his leg amputated

I also remember Moncs against man u in the cup bartez game. he was shadowing the linesman for a couple of mins whilst warming up, and then the lino flagged for offside and he run along and jumped up and headed the flag.
He would have been a good lad to have on a stag weekend i imagine..!!

Jasnik, one time with monc i do remember is him coming on at half time in a game against boro, we were one down i think.
anyway they kicked off and played the ball back to ince, about 2 seconds later moncs went ploughing straight through ince. got up and jumped up and down to the crowd who thought it was a god like tackle and smiled as he took a yellow card.
Paolo got a great goal that day as well.

Loved Dicks in the day but compared to how much we got angry over Payet's foul against Everton, I am pleased the game has moved on from that.
I think it has gone too far but I don't think that side of the game is necessary

I was at a charity event and the company I worked for sponsored it and Kamara was the MC.
I got introduced and he said hello and said a few things.
I then looked at him and said. " I am sorry but I don't wan to talk to you and can't ever like you for what you did that first home game of the season against Macavennie"
I just smiled and turned and walked away. Couldn't even bear to shake the blokes hand. I felt like my therapy for that tackle was then over.....

The worst tackle I've seen from a West Ham player was 'Razor' Ruddock on a Steau Bucharest player in the eufa cup in 99/00. The bloke was in the middle of the pitch and Ruddock put in the most deliberate and nasty over the top lunge I've seen. The Rumanian was lucky his leg wasn't broken.
I'm embarrassed that we had a cunt like Ruddock play for us.

Ah, yes. Schumacher's assault on Battiston. I believe he blamed it on his tunnel vision approach. He could have killed him.
I remember one or two by Martin Allen - including a stamp on some bloke's ankle. Really nasty.
During a house match at school when I was about 16, I warned our left back to watch his winger from kick off as it was obviously going his way from kick off. Our left back was a rugger bugger who hated football. I can't remember the challenge but the winger was on the floor shouting 'shit, shit" with his leg broke at the shin and pointing in two different directions.
